Many Nashville-area residents wish to own their own homes. Successful homeownership can help individuals and families build wealth, have greater control over their living space, and receive relief from rising rental costs. Unfortunately, many individuals and families encounter hurdles to homeownership in mid-Tennessee.
Personalized Financial Counseling
Woodbine Community Organization offers an assessment called Front Door for potential Nashville-area homeowners who want to reach their homeownership goals. This personal one-on-one counseling session explores a variety of financial topics including credit, income, savings, and strategies for creating a spending budget.
Our HUD and THDA-certified financial counselors will review relevant financial documents to better understand your financial situation and find out your goals. In this homebuyer counseling session, we’ll assess your barriers to homeownership and discuss ways to overcome them.
